I DID IT!

2:57! Instant PR! :) I'll post a full recap later, right now I'm watching the Ohio State Game, foam rolling and chatting with the husband. I'm super tired and have lots to tell you guys!

    Just FYI....I just learned this myself this weekend at my coaching seminar. The instruction stressed over and over again not to foam roll, deep massage, or aggressively stretch after hard workouts or races. What you're feeling is not muscle tightness, it's muscle damage. Why would you want to break down damaged muscled even further? Makes sense right? The foam roller and massage should be saved for a later time in the recovery process.

    Just thought I'd pass along that tidbit. She also said you can make a good roller by filling a 2L bottle 3/4 full with water. I'm feeling extra duped on my $40 foam roller now, lol.
